An internationally recognized innovator in the field of law enforcement, Ben Soave amassed 35 years of experience at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Ben, who retired in 2005 with the rank of Chief Superintendent, has been decorated by Canadian and foreign governments for his achievements against organized crime and terrorism. Ben spent more than 15 years in the Foreign Service as the RCMP Attaché at Canadian Missions in Singapore, Lima, and Rome, with responsibilities for high-risk regions in South East Asia, South America, Europe and the Middle East. In 1996 he returned to Canada and assumed command of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement (CFSEU) in Toronto and in the aftermath of 9/11 he was given the additional command responsibility of the Integrated National Security Enforcement Team (INSET).
After his retirement in 2005, Ben founded Ben Soave Associates Inc (BSA), Soave Strategy Group Inc (SSG) and Detek Investigative Group Inc (DETEK). Today, all three companies continue to provide a variety of premiere services to Canadian and foreign governments, law firms, national and multinational corporations, corporate executives and high net worth individuals. Ben serves on a number of public and private company boards of directors, advisory boards and not for profit charitable organizations.
